By purchasing any service offered on this site, the user ("Client" or "You") indicates that you have read, understand, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to with the Terms and Conditions, you are instructed to not purchase any service through this site.

Terms and Conditions / Terms of Service

Data and information such as name, contact details, and email address may be kept both physically and digitally and will be stored securely and retained for the legally required period. After this period, records will be securely removed and destroyed in compliance with relevant UK laws.

In addition to this, the Provider may take notes and make documentation regarding the progress of sessions and any information that was shared from Client to Provider during a session, which may include information such as personal experiences, thoughts, feelings, etc, which were shared within a session.

1. What data is held:

Any collected data and information will only be used for record keeping and contacting purposes and will not be shared with any advertising companies, data brokering companies, or third parties who should not normally have access to this information and data, except for circumstances related to the limits of confidentiality (4).

The Provider agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all information shared by the Client during counselling sessions in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This obligation extends to all employees, contractors, or affiliates associated with the Provider who may have access to Client information.

Confidentiality of any data or information may be breached in the following circumstances:

  1. If the Client poses a threat to themselves or others.

  2. If there is a suspicion of child or elder abuse.

  3. If required by law or court order.

  4. If a release of information is signed by the Client.

 

While Provider takes reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality and security of information in accordance with UK data protection laws, Clients understand and acknowledge that complete security of any collected data and information cannot be unconditionally guaranteed and therefore accept the potential risks associated.

4. Limits to Confidentiality:

The Provider makes no promises, representations, or guarantees regarding the results or outcomes that may be achieved through the attendance and use of any provided service. The Provider cannot assure that specific goals will be met or that any particular changes will occur as a result of participation.

 

The Client also acknowledges and understands that the Individual outcomes may vary based on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the Client's personal circumstances, commitment to the process, and external influences.

5. Effectiveness:

By purchasing any service, the Client understands and agrees that there will be no refund for any reason once an amount has been paid, this includes but is not limited to, arriving late, not showing up to a session, or any extenuating circumstances.
